German Railway (DB AG) testing accreditation of the UST 02 eddy current testing system
The Deutsche Bahn AG has granted Eurailscout testing accreditation for the eddy current testing system on the UST 02 rail testing train for the detection of head checks on the rail gauge line in accordance with DB Directive RIL 821.2007.
Accreditation as a test centre in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005
The overhead contact line inspection with the ODT 08 diagnostic train has been accredited as a test laboratory by the German test accrediting organisation DGA (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Akkreditierung) in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
German Railway (DB AG) testing accreditation of the UST 96 ultrasound testing system
The Deutsche Bahn AG has granted Eurailscout testing accreditation for the ultrasound testing system on the UST 96 for the detection of internal rail faults in accordance with DB Directive RIL 821.2007.
In the summer of 2009, Eurailscout was distinguished as one of the Top 100 most innovative companies in Germany.
The certificate was presented by Professor Dr. h.c. Lothar Späth, former Minister President of the state of Baden-Württemberg and former president of the Federal Council.
On 6 May, 2009 the Swedish Botniabanan commissioned Eurailscout to perform measurements of the rail geometry and overhead contact line and the video inspection of railway infrastructure in Sweden.
On 5 December, 2008 the Deutsche Bahn AG and Eurailscout signed a joint contract for ultrasound rail testing in Germany with the rail testing train for the calendar year 2009.
On 17 March, 2008 the Swiss Railway (SBB) and Eurailscout signed a joint agreement for ultrasound and eddy current rail testing of the SBB and BLS (Lötschbergbahn) rail network with the rail testing train.
