Chief Operator Ultrasonic inspection train

Eurailscout Inspection & Analysis b.v. operates several state-of-the-art measuring cars - one of them is the Ultrasonic inspection train UST96.
As Chief Operator Ultrasonic inspection train you are responsible for the correct and on-scedule implementation of ultrasonic measuring runs and the classification of detected rail flaws.

You manage the preparation, the measuring and the report of the the results to the head office and customers. You give advise to the head office and customers referring to the repair of the flaws. You are in charge of a small team of colleagues of the ultrasonic inspection train. In questions of acquisition of components and new equipment for the ultrasonic train you give advise to the head office of the company.

Measuring runs are done between the normal train traffic at day and night. The ultrasonic train is home based in Amersfoort but several weeks of the year we are measuring for our foreign clients in Europe.

You've got a professional training for electrical or mechanical engineering and experiences with computer-controlled systems. Knowledge and experiences with ultrasonic testing equipment and about railway infra structure (rail track) would be good. You've got good analytical competences to understand technical contexts.

To communicate with our international customers you are open-minded and team orientated. You should be able to communicate fluently in at least two of the following languages: Dutch, German or English. You're flexible and ready to improve your knowledge.
